We're excited to be participating in the RCPA Conference this year, running September 28 - October 1, 2021.

Greenspace will be delivering two learning sessions at the upcoming conference:

Session 1: Coordinating Measurement Based Care: How the Community Behavioral Health Association of Maryland Improved Treatment Outcomes and Leveraged Their Data

Tuesday, September 28 at 1:00 pm

Over the past year, MDCBH implemented Measurement Based Care across more than 16 member agencies and 800 providers. This was a significant and highly successful undertaking that was completed in partnership with its members and Greenspace Health. The core goals of this coordinated initiative were to: (a) generate important data on quality of care to support State level advocacy work; (b) support members with the implementation of MBC; and (c) to make measurement more valuable and effective for each participating member through benchmarking.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Demonstrate the value of Measurement Based Care for a clinician, organization and network;
  2. Discuss how certain data points impact advocacy work and funding;
  3. Apply change management best practices to create a culture shift.

Session 2: Workshop: Understanding Measurement Based Care and Key Strategies for a Seamless Implementation

Thursday, September 30 at 1:15 pm

The significant benefits of Measurement Based Care (MBC) have been proven in research and its proliferation in clinical practice is growing. There have been game-changing technological strides made over the last few years to help enable the widespread adoption of MBC, allowing for positive transformation of the way that mental healthcare is accessed, measured and delivered.

In this hands-on workshop, Jeremy Weisz, CEO of Greenspace Mental Health, will provide an overview of MBC, speak to its current body of research, and run an interactive session for Clinical Directors and Clinicians discussing the keys to a seamless implementation.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe the difference between measurement and Measurement Based Care in its potential to transform quality of care;
  2. Identify the gap between research and implementation;
  3. Discuss and understand key strategies for a seamless implementation.
